Committed to an everyday low price approach, Leroy Merlin Russia opted to rethink its processes in order to increase the automation of its transport and logistics services. This approach goes hand in hand with the projects the company has recently undertaken:
● internal and external growth with the acquisition in 2018 of competitor K-Rauta and larger warehouses; ● warehouse automation; ● first steps towards an omnichannel approach with the opening of its own dark stores.
To face this challenge, the company directors of the country’s largest Leroy Merlin warehouse (100,000 m2) chose to go with Generix Group Saas solutions.

Leroy Merlin set the following objectives:
● improve existing processes; ● enable new logistic processes to be launched; ● increase the company’s ability to adapt to change.
Based on a common and innovative approach to B2C transport that is capable of operating e-commerce flows, the collaboration with Generix Group was a real success for Leroy Merlin, resulting in a sharp increase of operational efficiency for the do-it-yourself giant.
Before implementing Generix Group’s integrated solution, processes were orchestrated in semi-manual mode. Logistics and transport operations were not fully meeting Leroy Merlin’s requirements in terms of speed and the handling of the flow of goods.
Now, the system optimally organizes tasks and sends assignment lists directly to an operator’s mobile device. When goods arrive at the warehouse, all operators need to do is scan the barcodes to find out the storage location or destination for in-store delivery.
