The company operates 12 distribution centers nationwide and offers a broad portfolio of products. The challenges

Complexity and Complex Environment

Shorr managed ten distribution centers, six of which had a basic WMS system and four of which still used paper-based processes. The receiving process involved materials from a variety of sources and formats, making management more difficult and leading to inefficiencies throughout the supply chain

Rapid growth and process slowdown

The company’s rapid expansion required the automation of manual processes to ensure scalability and improve inventory control. However, manually checking receipts against ASNs or purchase orders slowed down processing, highlighting the need to optimize the management of inbound flows
